WebDAV Clipboard Sync

Tiez supports WebDAV clipboard sync so your clipboard history can move across devices without locking you into a vendor-specific cloud. You choose the WebDAV endpoint, account, and storage location.

This is especially useful when you want Windows and macOS devices to share clipboard history while keeping the data path under your own control.

Cross-device history Sync clipboard items between Windows and macOS.
Storage you control Use your own WebDAV service instead of a closed sync backend.
Local-first behavior Clipboard data still works locally even before sync happens.

Why WebDAV sync matters

Many users want clipboard sync across devices but do not want to depend on a third-party account system. WebDAV gives Tiez a simpler path: the app can store device snapshots and incremental updates on a WebDAV server you already trust.

  • Good for users who already have NAS, private cloud, or WebDAV-capable storage.
  • Useful when moving between Windows and macOS during the same workday.
  • Keeps sync understandable: local changes, snapshots, settings, and remote pulls are visible parts of the flow.
